A former coaching inn, then bar during the 1900s, and subsequently a station buffet, just 300m from the railway station. During the post-war years, there were even rumours that the building housed a brothel! Today however, the Auberge de la Forêt is a charming inn, run by Francesca Gouret (since April 1992), backed up in the kitchen by the chef, Bertrand Poulaud.. (La Maillardais).
